Internet Review of Alarm Clocks Performance at the
Ponderosa Stomp May 8, 2006
Great to hear how much you dug the Alarm Clocks!
Absolutely killer set in Memphis at the Stomp!!! We were all amazed at how much the place filled up and the crowd
energy kept increasing throughout the set.
They were even better here in Memphis than the Cleveland shows - Mike's
original new songs being the difference - had more to offer than the standard
'66 set list covers.
One of the Alarm Clocks secret weapons is drummer Bill Earle/Schwark -
he kept the pounding beat intact and easily outclassed most of the other
vintage skin bashers.
Bruce Boehm was using his original amp and white
National guitar - the intro to "Yeah" sounded just like the record,
dig!
Y'all dig the ORIGINAL 1966 Alarm Clocks banner?
