Internet Review - March 2006:

Alarm Clocks Rule the Beachland Ballroom Concert on March 3 – 4, 2006

This weekend was amazing! I will cut straight to the Chase, The Alarm Clocks literally kicked everyone’s (you know what), on stage and in the crowd. Nobody really knew what to expect but soon into the first song on Friday March 4th, 2006) it was apparent that we were in for a treat. The band was the original three Alarm Clocks Bill, Mike & Bruce seen in that moody teen picture you have stared at on the “Back From The Grave” record. Joining them was Tom Fallon on guitar. Tom was responsible for that record making it to “Back from The Grave” album and is now the 4th Alarm Clock.

They ripped through Killer covers of the day like the Kinks, Stones, and a total punk version of Like a Rolling Stone. Mike announced that they had a couple new songs written for the show. Yeah I know what you’re thinking, we were all thinking that. Nobody wants to hear a new tune by you, play the old stuff. Well the two new tunes were Amazing! Just like the style of their 45. By the second night the new tunes were old favorites, the crowd was roaring after they played them. When they busted into "Yeah" the crowd was screaming like crazy, and they literally brought the house down with "No Reason to Complain". Mike Pierce's pipes are completely in perfect shape, he sounds like he did on the record, and can scream like he did in 1966. Nothing had changed, except now they are teenage geezers and I mean that in the absolute nicest possible way. 66 or 2006 it doesn't matter the Alarm clocks are back baby! The highlight of the weekend fo sho!

Yes indeed folks, Cleveland Rocks!
